Bird on Money / Untitled (Bone)
Divided into two parts, this TUD pays homage to Basquiat’s 1981 painting “Bird on Money”, honoring jazz saxophonist Charlie Parker. The composition reflects Parker’s music with colorful blocks, abstract shapes, arrows, and text. References to “Greenwood” and “Para Morir” suggest themes of death and mourning.
Untitled (Bird)
This TUD is inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat’s “Bird”, showcasing his use of birds as symbols of freedom and layered meanings. It invites personal interpretation and connection, expressing true emotions and embracing imperfections.
At the heart of TUD is the story of the “ugly duckling”, who finds success not by transforming, but by finding beauty in being true to itself, guided by persistence and ambition.
